Mike imbued in his children a love of the countryside, animals and a respect for nature. He would regularly take them on holiday to Brede, near Hastings, where they would pitch camp in tipis and have a marvellous time. Whilst here Mike would meet with his many friends who shared the same spiritual path of Native American Indian teachings.
